Device Fatigue Saps Creativity and Power

We all know those times where we are sitting in the checkout line at the grocery store and decide to get in a quick text or read an e-mail.
Well, it turns out that the brain has not adapted well to this continuous feed into the digital world. We need time to digest all this information we are bringing in.
Start turning off the cell phones, laptops and iPads during the day to give your brain a break and save some energy. Our subconscious brain can only work when the digital feed turned off. Our subconscious is responsible for solving our most challenging problems and generating breakthrough ideas. Give it a chance to work.
Fortunately, we still have showers in which to hatch ideas. Better yet, get out in nature and let your mind go free. You’ll be better able to plan and create during the rest of the day, and you may even come up with that one idea that makes a big difference for you and the planet.
Get comfortable connecting with yourself, not your gadget. You’ll have a better life.
